What is SculpSure™?
SculpSure™ is a new treatment for removing fat from the abdomen and flanks that has recently been approved by the FDA. The SculpSure™ Procedure
The SculpSure™ procedure typically lasts 25 minutes. During the session, a hands-free device attaches without suction to any area of the body the patient wants to be treated. Heat is then slowly applied to the treatment area, which injures the fat cells. Multiple areas of the body can be targeted in one session, and the fat loss will be consistent in every area. When enough heat has been applied, the session ends.
In the 6 to 12 weeks following the session, the amount of fat will slowly reduce as the tissue breaks down. The amount of fat in the treated areas usually reduces by at least 24 percent.
